Rotten Tomatoes recently published a report about how Game of Thrones Season 8 ratings have hit a record low for the show, making it a non-recoverable lowest rated season of the show.
Game of Thrones Season 8 kicked off with a relatively good percentage in ratings with the first two episodes. However, episode 3 and 4 have dipped the ratings down so low, that even if the show hits 100% with both of the remaining episodes, it will bring up the season average rating to 85%, which will still make it the lowest rated season. In contrast, all the other seasons are 90%+, with the first season being the lowest at 91%, and Season 4 being the highest at 97%.
